PETER COLBERT

 

Originally from Vancouver, Peter’s formal study began in the Graphics program at Humber College, followed by two years at the Ontario College of Art, where his talent was recognized and rewarded with the George A. Reid scholarship.  Working as a designer and illustrator in Toronto and Vancouver, Peter designed several award-winning pieces, translating ideas into visuals with pointed impact.  For the past several years, he has devoted himself entirely to his paintings, using acrylics in a variety of ways to achieve his singular style. 

 

Peter’s work is characterized by his impressionistic imagery, bold strokes, and striking use of color, inspiring immediate and strong reactions in the viewer.
